- Steven Turner joins Ventures West as Associate
Vancouver, BC, April 3, 2007- Ventures West, one of Canada's largest private venture capital companies, announced the addition of Steven Turner as Associate in its Vancouver office. Mr. Turner will focus on deal generation and portfolio management in the Cleantech sector.

Prior to joining Ventures West, Steve worked as an Equity Research Associate at Raymond James Ltd. covering industrial special situations companies. Prior to that, he was at Cellex Power Products, a Ventures West portfolio company that agreed to be acquired by Plug Power Inc. in March 2007. Mr. Turner also brings five years of engineering consulting experience to his role. He is a registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and an MBA from the University of Victoria.
Ventures West has been investing in the Cleantech sector since 1987 and has invested over $60 million in their Cleantech portfolio over the last decade.
