Ventures West Announces Seed Stage Investment in Aegis Mobility

Vancouver, B.C. (September 19, 2007) – Ventures West, one of Canada's largest private venture capital companies, today announced their seed stage financing of Aegis Mobility, an early stage mobile applications company.

The company is founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs who have successfully established and sold companies to corporations including, UTStarcom, PMC-Sierra, DTS, Media 100 and Amazon.com. Leading the Aegis team are CEO John Geyer, VP of Marketing Mandy Chan, VP of Engineering Steve Williams, and CTO Andrew Wright.
